Para ganar la emulación municipal cada CDR reúne, todos los años, donaciones voluntarias de sangre. En apoyo al CDR 11 de la Zona 10 nosotros reunimos 20 donaciones de sangre. Para ello utilizamos el mecanismo de compra venta de donaciones de sangre que existe en la calle (cada donación tuvo un precio de 5 CUC). Como resultado este CDR logró ser el más destacado en su municipio y nosotros obtuvimos un diploma de vanguardias nacionales. Apoyamos la meta de los CDR refrescando su estrategia, poniéndola en sintonía con un nuevo concepto de voluntariedad.

The CDRs (Committee for the Defense of the Revolution) try to collect every year the largest possible number of voluntary blood donations in the neighborhood. We decided to get as many blood donations as we could for the CDR 11 in Zone 10. For that purpose, we used the well-known mechanism of buying and selling blood donations usual all around town. With this method, we were able to gather 20 donations for the CDR; also donators could get some profit from their action. As a result, our CDR was the most outstanding in the municipality and we received a diploma as national vanguards. We supported the CDR’s goal by refreshing their strategy and attuning it with a new concept of voluntariness.
