De dos bocinas instaladas en la pared se escucha la parte de las canciones de reguetón en las que se hace alusión a la necesidad de no ser copiado y no parecerse al otro. El texto del centro es una cita donde aparece la propuesta del Estado de la utilización de información sin tomar en cuenta derechos de autor o reproducción en función de la cultura y la educación.

Nos interesa el contraste entre los códigos de esta música popular y la postura asumida por la institución con respecto a la posibilidad de copiar. Establecemos un diálogo entre ambas posiciones, la necesidad de originalidad en un contexto donde, la copia llega a ser una opción institucional, donde se vuelve natural.

Parts of hip hop songs singing on the need of not being copied and not to look like somebody else are heard through two loudspeakers set on a wall. In the center of both loudspeakers, there is a text with a quote or reference on the state decision not to pay copyright for information used for cultural and educational purposes.

We are interested in contrasting the codes in this popular music with the institutional position on the prospect of copying. The dialogue emerging from both positions -- that need to be original in a context in which copy becomes an option even in an institutional level, where it is seen as natural and becomes part of their production.
